    FAQ

What type of agistment does TVEC offer?

TVEC is a beautiful agistment property in the Tweed Valley, Dulguigan. Northern NSW on the banks of the Rous River. TVEC offers individual and beauitfully maintained grassy paddocks, each one featuring solid wooden top rails and posts, white wire strands plus all fully electrified for safety and peace of mind. Each paddock has a shelter for shade and protection from the elements plus a large water trough checked daily and cleaned weekly (or whenever needed). Horses are social creatures and it is very important for their mental well-being to see their own kind, therefore these individual grassy paddocks are the perfect safe option where all horses can graze, run, rest and interact safely seperated by safe and electrified fencing.

Does TVEC offer stables if needed?

TVEC has 17 stables in total, generously sized with the newer stables being an ample 4.5m x 4.5m. Most stables have a feeder plus a mounted hay rack. Fresh water is provided daily and always kept topped up. Bedding is clean fresh sawdust from a local mill and each stable is cleaned daily when in use. TVEC offers stabling if the need arises.

Given that we believe horses thrive in paddocks and may easily become stressed when stabled away from others we do not offer full-time stabling (in general). Horses that need stabling for health or other reasons also have access to small grassy day paddocks.

We welcome owners to ride and care for their horses here at TVEC. There is a wash bay that may be used anytime plus an agistee tack room and we are also able to offer use of our washing machine for washing rugs.

Across the road from the main agistment paddocks and stables are our riding trails, meandering through 200 acres of natural country side. The trails are all mowed to a generous width and all linked so there is no chance of you getting lost. Ample places to sit down with a picnic and taking in the view.

I have two horses who need to be paddocked together. Is this a possibility or are all paddocks onlt large enough for one horse?
